UM Holdings Sdn Bhd ("UMH") was established in 2001 as the corporate vehicle of Universiti Malaya (UM), entrusted with the mandate of monetising UM’s assets and resources and hence supporting UM’s long-term financial viability. Following an extensive rationalisation exercise in 2021, the Group has strengthened its corporate governance and operational structures to enable the achievement of its mission and vision.

As of 2022, the Group operates in the diversified sectors of Healthcare, Education, Plantation, Property and Intellectual Capital. The Group intends to strengthen these core sectors while also exploring high potential opportunities for growth.
