Horoscope Media is an advertising and marketing business that specializes in a wide range of marketing services such as design, printing, signage, and events. We are looking for Graphic Designer who constantly think of creative ways to upskill their design competence, are self-motivated, and love keeping up with the latest trends.
Responsibilities
Roles
• Support and work with printing, production and sales departments.
• Understand internal processes within printing, production, and sales departments.
• Continuous self-motivation and self-learning with ambition to upskill toward higher-level designer.

• Form a clear understanding of daily job brief and scope of work.
• Produce attractive and effective designs according to requirements for printing and media.
• Training for printing machine will be provided.
• Effective and consistent communication with other departments.
• Understand respective departments materials, products, and services.
• Understand best design methods, applications, software, and techniques.
• Prepare printing artwork and ensuring it is print ready.
• Create design mock-ups and superimpose.
• Understand and master processes in design, printing, and production.
• Conducts research prior to presenting new ideas, concepts, techniques, and trends.
• Open-minded to constructive criticism and strives for improvement.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualities
• Well versed in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Corel Draw.
• Understands fundamental design principles and practices, i.e. hierarchy, layout, color, and typography.
• Strong sense of urgency, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Takes deadlines seriously regardless of project size.
• Solid communication skills, active listener, multitasker, and efficient time management skills.
• Required soft skills and attributes such as problem-solving skills, detailed oriented, independent, highly motivated, proactive to follow up and follow through, growth mindset that practices ownership, accountability and strive for continuous improvement.
• Having an interest in photography, motion graphics, and videography are an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Adobe After Effect, and Adobe Premiere are an added advantage.
• Experiences in advertising and print industry is an advantage.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
