Description
We’re looking for a Senior Art Director who will bring a mix of artistic and marketing expertise to the position. The ideal person will inspire and be inspired by others to take our creative efforts to the next level – both through digital and traditional platforms.
Responsibilities

  • To conceptualise, create and manage overall design and visual style across all platforms
  • To lead and motivate a small team of Designers, Art Directors and Junior Art Directors
  • Be an active collaborator with internal and external partners - creative teams, clients, freelancers and influencers
  • Regularly review work with the Creative Directors to make sure the work is on brief, and creative standards are maintained at all times
  • Present work to clients as well as executive staff members within the company
  • Help curate content that showcases some of the world’s best creatives in the digital arena
  • To ensure all output is on brief, and on brand with a deep understanding of the working processes
  • Oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-platform use
  • Uphold brand guardianship and ownership of the client’s identity and brand voice


Requirements

Essential skills and qualifications
  • Five or more years of professional experience as an Art Director in an agency/in-house setup, ideally within the fields of advertising, design or marketing
  • Broad background in design and creative that spans across all mediums, especially digital
  • Strong creative vision and a strong understanding of client’s business objectives
  • Have a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with any audience
  • Proficiency with current design software
  • Strong craft and problem solving skills
  • Great presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain and defend work in meetings and reviews
  • An enthusiastic collaborator, and is open to other people’s ideas
  • Believes in showing initiative and having accountability for the work
  • Have a keen understanding of cultural nuances and creative trends within the local market
  • Ability to work with global teams across various time zones
  • Curious by nature for all things current and enjoys immersing in global trends
  • Effective communicator, that values interpersonal relationships, and have exceptional client management skills
