Description
Applicants must be knowledgeable and experienced in coordination and documentation in the hospitality industry and are required to have the necessary computer skills expected in this creative environment and must have a good working knowledge of Revit as all projects; both architecture and interior design, are designed and documented in Revit.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the assigned team and develop, coordinate and implement creative design for projects from concept design to construction
- To conceptualize and produce creative and functional layout and design required or as indicated in design brief by manual sketching and/ or using different computer software
- To complete required and necessary documentation for different design stages using CAD and Revit software in accordance to company procedure and standards
- To liaise with consultants, manufacturers and suppliers involved in the project
- Willing to travel overseas as and when required
- Performs other related duties as assigned which includes ad hoc assignments delegated by the director or immediate supervisor
Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture/Interior Design with minimum 3 to 10 years for of related work experience in the hospitality industry preferably in high-end and luxury developments as interior-architecture/ interior designer
- Good working knowledge of Revit as all projects; both architecture and interior design, are designed and documented in Revit.
- Minimum 5 years using Revit software
- Knowledgeable and experienced in coordination and documentation
- Proficient computer skills expected in this creative environment – Microsoft office, CAD, photoshop, sketch-up, 3D max a plus but not required, etc.
- Good understanding of design and have detailing knowledge
- Good knowledge of furniture and carpentry works
- Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics.
- Keen to details with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of international building codes and inspection regulations related to interiors
- Able to meet tight deadlines and handle work stress well
- Result-oriented and passionate to deliver projects successfully
- Able to work independently with a high degree of integrity
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
- Value support and cultivate cooperation among colleagues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills using English language
