Responsibilities
- Have proven experience using CAD in jewellery design
- Demonstrate proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Remain organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize, meeting deadlines in a frequently fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work independently, as well as collaborating and contributing as a member of our professional team.
- Work closely with a jewellery designer to create and develop new designs. • Collaborate with our team of designers, sales and administrative staff, to fulfil special orders, custom, and designs.
- Assist colleagues (sales, workshop, administrative staff, and appraisers) in visual communications to include photography of jewellery & processing images with Photoshop.
- Develop an organized library of existing and new designs for easy access and retrieval.
Requirements
- Proficient with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, 2D/3D Animation design software
- GEMVISION /RHINO experience is a requirement
- Photoshop and related software is a strong plus
- Strong design and typography skills
- Strong foundation in motion design, animation, tracking and compositing
- Web streaming experience a plus
- Positive, self-starter, capable of performing under pressure and making good decisions, particularly in a fast turnaround environment
- Willing to accept responsibilities and able to work under minimal supervision
- Work effectively both in a team environment and individually
- Consistently work hours required to meet deadlines
