- Lead the Product Design from concept generation, modelling / mockup, and prototype evaluation.
- Mechanical Design including part design, part specifications, packaging and BOM.
- Testing and improvement of new and current products.
- Creating and maintaining technical specifications for said products.
- Possess Advanced Diploma / Degree in Industrial / Product Design or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Product Design & Development experience.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in product development of commercial seating or office systems, in particular partition and desking. Knowledge of this market’s requirements and trends.
- Experience in total ownership of technical specifications and development of office system furniture.
- Proficient in 3D solid CAD software, eg. Solid works / Auto CAD / Adobe Cs / Corel Draw.
- Ability to work independently up to detailed final product design and specs.
- Able to present a good PORTFOLIO of past design projects.
- Artistic flair and skill in visual communication and rendering techniques will be an added advantage.
