Ivy's Design

Description

I have designed a lettermark for the Junior Graphic Designer Community (JGDC) logo. I decided to use Artmeet's logo colour (Purple) as the colour of the JGDC logo. The list below are some characteristics of the JGDC logo that I have created which can represent the aims of the JGDC:

1. Chatbox. Chatbox can represent communication. I have designed two chatboxes with the letter "J" and "C". There are some differences between the design of the two chatboxes. It can indicate the variety of ideas, which also indicates that Junior Graphic Designers can exchange different ideas and insights in JGDC.

2. Hand holding a pencil. I have designed the pencil and hand icon on the letter "G". Pencils can represent the design. A hand holding a pencil and the tip of the pencil pointing up can represent Graphic Designers who always be passionate about learning design skills and improving personal capabilities. This characteristic can represent that JGDC can let Junior Graphic Designers improve their design skills.

3. Rounded typefaces. I have designed a rounded typeface for the JGDC logo. The corners and the terminals are rouned, it can make the whole logo look soft and make it looks friendly and pleasant. This can represent that JGDC can let Junior Graphic Designers communicate about the design with peers friendly.
