Responsibilities
- Manage all design projects and supervise and mentor design staff on project execution to ensure high-quality work throughout the entirety of the project.
- Responsible for managing all design projects from concept to delivery.
- Liaise with production managers and the technical and administrative teams in the creation and execution of projects, keeping them abreast with any developments on projects and seeking their suggestions on new techniques to be employed in the execution of projects.
- Supervise, evaluate and manage production resources and projects to ensure that all materials ordered arrive upon agreed time and are in good shape to obtain maximum results.
- Combining art and technology to articulate ideas and communicate them visually from signages, collaterals, brandings to packaging.
- Ensure that the finished work delivers the intended messages based upon your knowledge of the client / customers.
- Create new and original designs from scratch for brands based on client specification, needs and brand image.
- Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials, and special fonts, which are needed for record keeping and referencing.
- From time to time will be required to help other team members in ensuring packaging and delivery of projects to clients are executed according to client requirements and within the stipulated deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant professional working experience as a Graphic Designer.
- Proven skills in design software and technologies such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, or other equivalent software.
- Creative with the ability to make designs from the scratch and have good knowledge of corporate branding, digital media and color theory.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and possess good information finding skills.
- Good leadership skills to carry other team members along.
- Good time management and multitasking skills in executing projects.
- Experience in print and product designs will be advantageous.
- Degree or Diploma in Graphics Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts or equivalent are a plus, but is not a requirement.
