Description
We, Dans Interior Sdn Bhd is an establish manufacturer and interior design firm based in Cheras. Our company has been in the business of interior design for more than 7 years and has already build many modern & harmony residential and commercial projects as well as published in the ID magazine and newspaper.
We are interested in hiring a skilled and experienced candidate to join our design team as an Interior Designer.
As an Interior Designer, you will be making interior spaces functional by determining the space requirements. You will also be designing the right furniture and decorative items to renovate the spaces.
You will supervise the process from conceptual development to executing the final design. You will be a part of a team of engineers, architects and designers for space planning. You will be responsible for leading the design team and all the ongoing project phases.
You will be responsible for creating the client’s schedules for design plans for art and design projects. You should possess exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects.
- Meet with client in (office/virtual) in order to understand the client's objectives and desires.
- Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs along with the time and within the budget.
- Prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clients
- Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
- Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
- Collaborate with the team to work on new designs.
- Give the correct price estimates according to the budget.
- Research about the latest trends and accordingly source products and materials.
- Select the right materials, furniture decor, and finishing.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree Fresh grad in Interior Design or similar in related field.
- 1 year or more of experience in related field will be an advantage
- Strong creative and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to execute
- Extensive experience in color, lighting, selection of materials, designing layouts and customized furniture.
- Familiar with Interior Designing Software that is Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, Autodesk 3DS Max, Sketchup, etc.
- A portfolio of the projects undertaken will be an advantage.
- Ability to work closely with the design team.
- Strong understanding of interior environment and design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
