Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing graphics to support our events, videos and marketing.
- Responsible for company's marketing deliverables, including: designing and producing. proposals, sales collateral, e-newsletters, and ad campaigns.
- Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style and related aesthetic concept.
- Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout.
- Working on layouts and art working pages reading for print.
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as in design, illustrator, Photoshop and acrobat.
- Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design (CAD).
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing.
Accountabilities
- Ensure that all designs make ‘Wow’ to the client
- Ensure that tasks delivered on time as agreed
- Must be up to date on current and involving design technology
- Maintain daily/weekly updates on social media sites
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Diploma/degree in graphic designer or related discipline with an designer emphasis is required ; or
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- High level of fluency in an appropriate design package, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and in design.
REQUIRED LANGUAGES:
- Proficient in the English, Chinese and Malay language; both verbal and written communication.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (if any):-
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and open to new ideas.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with information or items as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline.
