Description
The Baking R&D intern provides food science and baking expertise to assist Chef in executing the baking strategy across multiple brands inclusive of working closely with Marketing to lead the innovation process and developing new and improved baking products
Responsibilities
  • Manages the test baking studio day-to-day operations to support efficient and proper experimentation, testing and refinement of products
  • Assists Chef in identifying product solutions that support the overall strategies for brand penetration while maintaining brand quality, positioning and integrity.
  • Makes recommendations on potential product development to enhance Brand growth.
  • Performs food costing and calculation of nutritional information as needed.
  • Manage inventory (Stock check and purchasing).
  • Ensure the cleanliness of baking studio is well maintained.
