Responsibilities
- Design interior spaces from concept to completion including permanent fitting details to soft-furnishing elements
- Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs (CAD) and hand-drawing skills
- Creates project budgets, including materials and labour
- Establishes project timelines and coordinates work activity, vendor involvement, and outside contractors as necessary
- Work closely with person in-charge of business development and contractors
Requirements
- Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, furniture and all installations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge on SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
- Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
- Good understanding, communication and presentation skills
